Competition, in the company’s own words · 10-K filed Mar 25, 2026
We operate in the intensely competitive data storage market that is characterized by constant change. Changes in the application requirements, data center infrastructure trends and the broader technology landscape result in evolving customer requirements for capacity, performance scalability and enterprise features of storage systems. Our main competitors include legacy vendors, such as Dell EMC, NetApp, Hitachi Vantara, HP Enterprise, and IBM, each of which offer a broad range of systems targeting various use cases and end markets and have the technical and financial resources to bring competitive products to market. In addition, we compete against cloud providers and vendors of hyperconverged products. Some large-scale cloud providers, known for developing storage systems internally, offer alternatives to our data storage solutions for a variety of customer workloads. Our market attracts new startups and more highly specialized vendors, as well as other vendors that may continue to acquire or bundle products that compete with our offerings. All of our competitors utilize a broad range of competitive strategies.

Return on capital = operating income / (total assets − current liabilities), the ROIC row’s definition; 15% is the framework’s return threshold. Gross margin = gross profit / revenue. Both from each year’s 10-K via SEC EDGAR. Moat analysis commonly looks at whether returns and margins held up over many years. These figures don’t say whether the company has an advantage, what it is, or whether it will last.
Capital allocation, 2023-2026: dividends or buybacks paid in every year (pass); $1.07B paid out against $2.23B of free cash flow (pass); total debt $756.12M to $216.72M, down 71.3%, 0.6x EBITDA (pass: not up more than 10%); shares outstanding 0.30B to 0.33B, up 7.2% (fail: up more than 2%). 3 of 4 tests passed; the framework scores that as 4.

These are events the company reported to the SEC. An auditor change or a late filing can have many causes; each date links to the filing, where the company explains it. Valerius does not score these.
Graham Formula:
IV = EPS x (8.5 + 2g) x (4.4 / Y)
EPS = $0.73, g = 20.0%, Y = 4.5
g capped at 20.0% (3-year EPS CAGR was 70.1%)
IV = $34.62
Current price $124.01 vs Graham value $34.62 — price is 258.2% above the model value.
DCF:
FCF/share -$0.343 — a two-stage DCF cannot be computed from negative free cash flow.Data from yfinance summary figures and financial statements, and from the company’s 10-K filings via SEC EDGAR; computed at a price of $124.01. Every score is calculated from the figures by the framework’s fixed rules, and the explanation beside it is generated from the same figures: Graham value, DCF value, margin of safety, ROIC, profit margins, debt-to-equity, price-to-book, EPS trend, ROE trend, free cash flow, retained earnings and capital allocation. No AI is involved in this scorecard. The moat is shown as evidence, without a score. Read each score with the figures beside it. A check that cannot be scored from the available data is shown as not scored and left out of the composite score. Intrinsic value calculations are model outputs based on stated assumptions, not predictions.
